10th: A Series of Workshops on Breathing, Relaxation and Stress
Breathing, Relaxation and Stress and their connection with health. This series of workshops will focus on the past and the present in the lives of the participants.
Workshop 1: Breathing, Relaxation and Stress
The proper use of relaxation and breathing is a powerful tool in the lessening of stress. The use of these two resources can lead to better health while their misuse can interfere with optimum health. This three hour workshop will consider how to use breathing and relaxation to optimum effect. It will also introduce participants to initial practice.
17th: Workshop 2: Breathing, Relaxation and Stress
This workshop is intended for those who have completed the first workshop. The blocking of breath by an individual and its related psychological consequences will be examined. The effective use of visualisation will be explored and its connection to relaxation discussed. The three hour workshop will invite participants to examine their breathing and relaxation with a view to creating an ongoing resource in their lives.
24th: Workshop 3: Breathing, Relaxation and Stress
The final workshop in this series will consider how breathing and relaxation are influenced by an individual's past and present.
